happy new year 2009, everyone.
until shortly before christmas i thought i'd spend the new year in finland. but things changed and the 25 best invested euros of the year went to ryanair in order to change my flight and stay home an additional week. so i spent the days around new years in just the right place. the (sry, THE) mountain. no running water, no electricity and a freezing -8 degrees [+2 inside my bedroom ;)] but just the right 5 people, a nice warm oven, books, knitting needles, big dogs, tons of chocolate, perfect. and eva, the unstrut was frozen. comes in very handy if someone is in need of skating. sometimes things just feel so right. so, great start into 2009 and lots of energy to continue with things in finland now. its back to school tomorrow, so lets see how it goes.
oh, and for those of you who are into these kinds of things~my card of the year is "the lovers". good, bad? dont know yet. rather good, i guess. so here we go.
