and...while walking around oulu two days ago i found out another thing.
here's a warning to my fellow artists and photographers:
mo, mariana, anna, ...; i know you are out there. now. dumb and dumber has taught us not to lick metal when it's cold outside. this is something we know. maybe we could also figure that touching metal with your bare hands is not the brightest thing to do in cold weather. but! here's the thing i found out while in complete amazement regarding and taking pics of oulujoki freezing over [read carefully]:
*wearing a jacket D O E S N O T prevent you from getting stuck to metal when it is cold*
in my case, it was the reiling of one of many bridges over the river. embarassing. and dorky. very much so.

Here is -17ºC now. Vad skönt :)
Thanks for the advice! I am so sorry you had to go ahead and find that out for us, but the reward for that will come sooner or later.
Warm hug from dark (though the sky at night is now blue and not black) Sundsvall :)
hehe. you are welcome, one has got to find out ;)
yes~amazing colours here at night as well. orangy pinkish grey for some reason...looks a little spooky though.
and for those who love to see details~you know you can click on the pics and see them big, glorious and wonderful, right?
