blut, blut...

wow, finland. amazing how people are brought up in different ways...
here's what got me thinking today. and i try to keep it short [and neutral. haha. as if], otherwise it'll be 3 pages. talk to me about it, I'll be glad to tell since there are a lot of juicy details missing ;)
so..story goes like this:

teacher's room, full of people. teacher brings in girl from the break, crying + bleeding from mouth and nose (guys. and i mean bleeding. not just little part-of-normal-day-at-school-drippedy-dripp going on, noooo. she could have been center of attention in the kind of movies i like), asks for girls class teacher. all teachers [+ darja] turn around, see girl, disgusted/shocked. class teacher comes, takes kid. other teachers take up conversation again as if nothing happened. teacher who brought that girl leaves. noone got up to help that class teacher, noone got up to call that girls mother, noone got up to even see if there is anything else needed. why, the class teacher was taking care of it, wasnt she?! amazing, truly. i couldnt believe it. so i [the stupid foreigner] went and tried to help [yeah, imagine some person talking japanese to you trying to calm you down when you were in 3rd grade, how good of a job could that person ever do!?], while other teachers looked at that poor little girl and wished us a nice weekend before leaving for home. gee, thanks.

later [seriously...it must have taken about half an hour till that girls mommy came], talking about it to another teacher, uttering my amazement, here's the answer i got:
well, the class teacher should have asked for help if she needed any.
oh, i am not trying to say that i'm the saviour of the world, guys, to get that straight, k. its just that my mommy taught me to keep my eyes open for people that need help. here mommys probably tell their children not to molest others unless they ask for it.

...and probably i got it all wrong because i just didnt understand...
